Between the past 1 and 5 November our educators have been collaborating with Ro-Botica in the XIII edition of the Barcelona Manga Fair, organized by FICOMIC and held at the Barcelona Montjuic Fairgrounds.

The show has closed its most ambitious and extensive edition with more than 148,000 visitors. The popular annual event has included conferences, dances, performances of cosplayers and musicals, anime screenings, workshops of Japanese culture and comic books, and a wide range of gastronomic proposals.

Robotics has been given special prominence, including exhibitors like KUKA, ABB, Universal Robots, STAUBLI and Ro-Botica.

Ro-Botica is known as the first company with a face-to-face shop in Europe dedicated to personal and educational robotics. Advances in this sector are allowing a notable evolution in learning and constructive entertainment, thanks to the increase in equipment performance, ease of use and lower sales prices of products. Playing with robots helps us to acquire skills such as teamworking, learning how to plan and schedule tasks and taking care of the materials we use, all this whithout leaving to enjoy the moment.

At the Ro-Botica stand visitors have become familiar with some of the most famous robots such as Bee-bot; they have been able to play in a football match between Albert UO robots, activated by the remote control of clocks; they have seen Darwin-OP dance, one of the most technologically advanced humanoid platforms.
