We extended our collaboration with the Network of Municipal Libraries of the Diputació de Barcelona (XBM – DIBA) with five new ApPa CREATE training courses – open to children from 4 to 7 years old – within the BiblioLab project, which develops actions aimed at access to knowledge through experimentation and the application of innovative and creative methodologies.
The training sessions will take place between October and December in the Central Library of Igualada, the Manuel de Pedrolode Sant Pere de Ribes Library, the Josep Soler y Vidal Library in Gavà, the Montserrat Roig Library in Sant Feliu de Llobregat and the Joan Triadú Library in Vic.
ApPa, the educational program for Learning to Program and Programming to Learn, allows adults to participate in the sessions, where young participants will create their own stories and narratives through the creation of characters, dreams, stories and choreographies using technological tools (ICT) and audiovisual language as a means of communication, to record, listen and speak.
Since we started the training courses in November 2017, the reception by libraries and attendees wherever we have gone has been very good and we are proud to continue with this project!
